Interviewer: Can you tell us about your journey into the fields of influencing, public relations, and design, and how you developed an interest in these areas?

City_PR: My journey into these fields stemmed from a combination of curiosity, necessity, and a desire for creative expression. It all began after completing my school certificate when I found myself grappling with boredom and financial constraints. Seeking a solution, I turned to social media, wondering if it could provide both entertainment and income opportunities. Thus, I embarked on a journey to captivate audiences by sharing humorous and engaging content online, marking the inception of my career in influencing.

Interviewer: What inspired you to pursue a career in influencing and PR, and how do you incorporate design into your work?

City_PR: The driving force behind my foray into influencing and PR was the pressing need for financial stability. As I navigated this path, I quickly recognized the pivotal role that design plays in capturing attention and conveying messages effectively. With a keen eye for aesthetics, I integrate design elements into my content to enhance its visual appeal and impact.

Interviewer: Despite studying forestry and wildlife management, how did you transition into these creative and communication-based industries?

City_PR: Interestingly, my academic background in forestry and wildlife management laid the foundation for my transition into creative and communication-based industries. Although my initial career trajectory was shaped by external factors such as university admission processes, I seized the opportunity to explore diverse fields and ultimately gravitated towards areas that aligned with my passions and interests.

Interviewer: How do you leverage your background in forestry and wildlife management in your current career, if at all?

City_PR: While my current career may seem far removed from forestry and wildlife management, the principles of environmental stewardship and ecosystem dynamics that I learned during my studies continue to inform my approach to problem-solving and holistic thinking. This perspective enables me to navigate diverse environments and adapt to changing landscapes in the professional realm.

Interviewer: Can you share any memorable experiences or challenges you faced while establishing yourself in the influencing and PR industries?

City_PR: One of the notable challenges I encountered was the transient nature of online platforms and the vulnerability of relying solely on borrowed media. A significant setback occurred when my Twitter account with 10,000 followers was suspended, resulting in the loss of job opportunities and campaigns. This experience underscored the importance of establishing a robust online presence and owning one's media platforms.

Interviewer: What role does design play in your work, and how do you use it to enhance your messaging and brand image?

City_PR: Design is indispensable in conveying messages effectively and shaping brand perception. By incorporating visually appealing graphics, layouts, and aesthetics into my content, I strive to create a cohesive and engaging brand image that resonates with my audience.

Interviewer: How do you stay updated with trends and best practices in influencing, PR, and design?

City_PR: Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices is essential in the dynamic landscape of influencing, PR, and design. I maintain a proactive approach by immersing myself in online communities, following thought leaders, and actively engaging with relevant content to stay informed and inspired.

Interviewer: Can you discuss any specific projects or campaigns you've worked on that you're particularly proud of?

City_PR: I've had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed brands such as Apvertise, FrankieFX, FootiesByOlori, and others, which has been a rewarding experience. Their continued partnership is a testament to the value I bring to their campaigns and the positive impact of effective communication and design.

Interviewer: How do you balance the demands of your career in influencing and PR with your personal interests and commitments?

City_PR: Balancing the demands of my career with personal interests and commitments is an ongoing endeavor that requires adaptability and prioritization. While there is no one-size-fits-all approach, I strive to maintain equilibrium by embracing flexibility, setting boundaries, and making time for self-care and rejuvenation.

Interviewer: Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or passions that you enjoy pursuing?

City_PR: Beyond my professional pursuits, I am an avid football enthusiast and derive joy from watching Cristiano Ronaldo in action. Additionally, I enjoy watching movies and engaging in lively discussions with friends and family.

Interviewer: How has your personal background and upbringing influenced your approach to your career and life in general?

City_PR: While my upbringing did not involve lavish privileges, it instilled in me values of resilience, determination, and a commitment to making a positive impact. My mother's emphasis on making a difference in the lives of others continues to inspire me to seek opportunities for growth and contribution in every aspect of my life.

Interviewer: Can you share a bit about your creative process when working on design projects or crafting influential content?

City_PR: My creative process begins with seeking inspiration from my surroundings, both online and offline. By immersing myself in diverse sources of creativity, I draw insights and ideas that inform the development of impactful design projects and compelling content.

Interviewer: What advice would you give to someone looking to break into the fields of influencing, PR, or design, especially if they come from a different academic background?
